Establishing a Freelance Interpretation Business: Professional Guidance for Sign Language Interpreters
4th Edition June, 2019
This book is the fourth edition of my original book, published by Butte Publications in 1993. This book is primarily targeted to freelance American Sign Language Interpreter practitioners and is widely used by Interpreter Training Programs across the United States and Canada. It addresses everything from working through referral agencies, to tax structures and the effects of vicarious trauma on interpreters. Butte closed its doors in 2018 and the 4th edition has been self-published since the author now retains the rights.
